Commercial Pilot License (CPL)

Aim of the course

The aim of our modular CPL course is to train PPL holders to the level of proficiency necessary for the issue of a commercial pilot license.

An applicant for a CPL license, as result of the training, will be able to pass the theoretical and flight examinations organised by the Belgian Civil Aviation Authority.

The privileges of the holder of a CPL license are to act as pilot-in-command or co-pilot as part of commercial aviation activities.

Pre-entry requirements

  • Holder of a PPL(A)
  • Have completed 150 hours flight time as a pilot
  • At least 18 years of age
  • Medical fitness, holding a class 1 medical certificate
  • A sufficient knowledge in English to be able to understand all publications
  • A sufficient general knowledge to understand the theoretical courses

Our theoretical knowledge course is modular.

Flight training

The practical training is done on a single engine aircraft for at least 15 hours in dual for holders of the IR of which 5 hours on a complex aircraft.

or 25 hours in dual flight (instructor on board), for non holder of the IR  of which 5 hours on a complex aircraft.
